The Max Cure Foundation is excited to announce that beginning in January 2017, the “Run for the White House for Childhood Cancer Awareness” will now be implemented as a program of the foundation.
The Run for the White House was Inspired by Kids and founded by Brian Jones of Salem, Oregon in 2013 when he began running for his son and all kids in the fight of their lives. Through his efforts in creating greater awareness of childhood cancer, by engaging people in a grass-roots campaign to “Run for the White House,” hundreds of participants have “donated” their running miles.
This past year alone, over 1,000,000 miles were donated in connection with the Run for the White House social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram. Teaming up with the Max Cure Foundation, the Run for the White House program now provides the opportunity to create transformative impact upon the lives of children diagnosed with cancer every day and the families who suffer alongside.
The 2017 Run for the White House for Childhood Cancer is a virtual activity event to raise awareness and support children facing cancer by posting running miles, running events and other physical activity times in 2017.
