JANUARY 17, 2012 -
NEW YORK, NY - “Dunk Your
Kicks” for pediatric cancer
provides a meaningful
fundraising opportunity for
everyone while teaching kids
philanthropy through the art of
giving back by “dunking” their
old “kicks” into recycling bins,
and taking a step to finding a
cure for pediatric cancer. On
average, for every pair
received, one dollar will be
donated to various pediatric
cancer causes that The Max Cure
Foundation and All 4 Kids
Foundation support.
The Max Cure Foundation for
pediatric cancer causes, the All
4 Kids Foundation and Paul
Carrozza, the “Dunk Your Kicks”
Ambassador, have partnered with
Green Sneakers, an
environmentally friendly
national company whose simple
and effective programs for
reusable “kicks” benefits local
charities and impoverished
countries and Rentacrate, a
reusable plastic crate and
moving equipment rental company
in the United States, will be
providing the sneaker collection
containers and arranging for
pick up.

When David
Plotkin's life
took an
unexpected turn
down a road he
never imagined,
he turned to
creative writing
to better
communicate his
feelings to his
young son,
documenting the
trials and
tribulations of
his journey in
song. Plotkin's
lyrical debut is
filled with
truth and
conviction,
offering
listeners
inspiration,
hope and
encouragement.
Plotkin's album,
The Journey, is
beautifully
produced, having
engaged some of
Nashville's top
talent to assist
in weaving words
around catchy
melodies that
embrace the
listener with a
strength not
found often
enough in
main-stream
music today.

Our Lives
Changed Forever
On May 2, 2007
It was the day
we learned that
our three year
old son Max was
diagnosed with
an extremely
rare form of
cancer. The very
next day was his
fourth birthday.
Dinner
conversations
quickly changed
from talking
about school and
after school
activities to
oncology and
chemotherapy.
