“When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the average family spends over 40 hours per week caring for a loved one in active treatment. Parents must sacrifice paid hours, and sometimes their job to care for their child.” – Richard L. Plotkin

The Max Cure Foundation’s Roar Beyond Barriers program provides financial support to low-income, first responder, and military families who have a child battling cancer to help ease some of the financial burdens on the family while dealing with the child’s diagnosis. Roar Beyond Barriers provides assistance in the form of financial aid paid to families on a quarterly basis as a systemic form of support. We hope this steady source of extra income can help alleviate some of the financial crunch a sick child can create in a family’s budget.

Our first financial disbursement will be in March of this year, 2020. Applications will be considered up until disbursement of checks in mid-March.
