Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live. We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar. #GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season.
This year, The Max Cure Foundation is setting our most ambitious social fundraising goal to date! We are asking 43 people, families or companies to commit to be a voice for children battling cancer and fundraise by collecting $1,000 for our Roar Beyond Barriers program between now and #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2019.
The number 43 represents how many children are diagnosed with cancer each day in the United States.
We have set an ambitious goal to raise $43,000 which will allow us to support families during the holidays and help fund our family support program for the 2020 year. However, our ambitions and goals alone cannot help keep the heat on for families, ensure children return to school fully prepared to learn, and stop evictions – this is why we need your help!
Ambassadors are normal people who do small things with great love and elect to be a voice for children battling cancer, and their families. As an Ambassador you are pledging to fundraise or collect sneakers on behalf of the foundation leading up to #GivingTuesday. Ambassadors are the key to the success of this fundraiser. Our goal is to have 43 fundraisers working together to raise awareness and $43,000 to support families. We have all the tools needed to succeed. All that’s left is YOU!
There is no greater reason to join with Max Cure to support our efforts than the thousands of children across the country currently being treated in clinics and hospitals. Join in the fight against childhood cancer and help us support patients and their families. Corporate sponsors can either sponsor an individual fundraiser, pledge to match donations, or make a donation towards the ultimate goal of your employees who elect to support us in one of our many forms of fundraisers that can engage a wide and varying workforce.
