Junior Board of Directors
Meet the Max Cure Foundation Junior Board of Directors! We need more text here! How did it start? What are your goals and objectives?
Suki Cheung | Tulane University
My name is Suki Cheung and I am a sophomore at Tulane University from Chicago, Illinois. I am a first-generation college student majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology, as well as minoring in psychology and on the pre-med track. I enjoy cooking/baking, volunteering, and meeting new people! I look forward to working with the other members in advocacy, research, and family support.
Zoe Epstein | Tulane University
My name is Zoe, I am a Senior at Tulane University. I’m majoring in Psychology and minoring in Cell and Molecular Biology, aspiring to be a genetic counselor. I’m from New York, but moved overseas to Singapore going into High School. When I’m not doing MCF related tasks, I love going to Orange Theory Fitness, exploring various restaurants, and spending time with my friends.
Rebecca Douglas | Tulane University
I’m Rebecca, and I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’m currently attending Tulane University, where I am majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology. After college, I plan to attend medical school, and to hopefully pursue a pediatric specialty! In high school, I was able to be involved as a participant and committee member of a fundraiser for childhood cancer research and became passionate about the cause. I look forward to working with the Junior Board to fundraise and raise awareness!
Delia Carlino | Tulane University
My name is Delia Carlino. I attend Tulane University in the graduating class of 2023 and am studying biomedical engineering on the pre-med track with hopes of one day getting my MD-PhD and conducting clinical research. I joined the Max Cure Foundation because I have seen what both childhood diseases and cancer can do to a family: my cousin was born with undiagnosed developmental disease and my grandmother died of cancer when I was four. Ever since then I have been determined to make a difference and know that the Max Cure Foundation is a great way to do just that.
Meredith Rosenberg | Tulane University
My name is Meredith Rosenberg and I will be a Freshman at Tulane University this fall. I plan on studying Neuroscience and Public Health with a minor in Spanish and I am on the Shockwave Dance Team. I am so excited to be a part of this incredible program!
Amanda Bartolini | Tulane University
My name is Amanda Bartolini. I am from Scottsdale, Arizona and am currently a senior at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m studying biology and psychology and hope to one day become a pediatric ER doctor or oncologist. When I’m not studying for the MCAT, I can be found hanging out with my friends around New Orleans or scribing at a local hospital. This is my first year working with the Max Cure Foundation and I am very excited for the opportunity to try to make a difference in the lives of those affected by pediatric cancer. Through the Max Cure Foundation’s Junior Board of Directors, I am on the research committee and the family support committee and cannot wait to start working with my fellow board members as well as the families and children Max Cure works with and supports!
