The Max Cure Foundation (MCF) Junior Board is a dynamic group of teenage philanthropists and young professionals and who share an interest in becoming emerging leaders and making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer. Working with the Junior Board is a unique opportunity to expand your leadership influence, cultivate new skills, network with new friends and have an impact on the childhood cancer community. While the number of open seats on the actual Junior Board is limited each year, we also have many ways to get involved through our Committees as a member of our Junior Board Council. Please contact us to learn more by emailing Erica@MaxCure.org or calling us at 201-569-5595. If you are ready to get started, just fill out the application form here and one of our team members will be in touch shortly.
The Junior Board strives to promote the mission of MCF through educational, fundraising and service initiatives. Our two largest goals are to raise money to support low-income and military families who have a child with cancer and advance childhood cancer research funding. In addition to fundraising initiatives to support our programs, we also coordinate service projects that allow us to contribute our time to make a difference. Projects could include collecting toys and clothes to bring to children being treated at our partner hospitals, advocating for change to local and national legislations, and educating the community about childhood cancer related issues.
Recruiting for the Junior Board happens each December when we accept applications for new Board Members. As we get to know each candidate’s interests and time availability, our goal is to find the best fit for you at this time. We hope that you will share some of your energy, time, and talents with the Junior Board of MCF!
