My name is Delia Carlino. I attend Tulane University in the graduating class of 2023 and am studying biomedical engineering on the pre-med track with hopes of one day getting my MD-PhD and conducting clinical research. I joined the Max Cure Foundation because I have seen what both childhood diseases and cancer can do to a family: my cousin was born with undiagnosed developmental disease and my grandmother died of cancer when I was four. Ever since then I have been determined to make a difference and know that the Max Cure Foundation is a great way to do just that.
