Max Cure Joins the Summer’s Best Office Party

The Max Cure Foundation has been invited to attend the Summer’s Best Office Party and we would like to extend that invitation to you! Recently, our friends at the New Jersey Running Company introduced Max Cure to the Corporate FunRun team and our Vice-Chairman, Richard Plotkin and Corporate Fun Run’s founder, Bruce Pienkny hit it off instantly! Developing what we hope to be a long-standing collaboration benefiting both organizations.

When asked about the new collaboration, Richard stated, “Max Cure Foundation is proud to have been chosen by Corporate FunRun to be its exclusive charity at the July 22, 2015, 5 K Corporate FunRun in Wilmington, Delaware. Its pride in being chosen as the exclusive charity in Delaware is matched by the privilege given to it to bring the Dunk Your Kicks program to the seven Corporate FunRuns in 2015 and looks forward to working with Corporate FunRun not only in 2015, but for many years to come. Working together for children with cancer and their families will raise a loud Roar For A Cure heard throughout the regions where the 5 K fun runs are held.”

The Corporate FunRun is a 5k race series tailored to the corporate world, giving businesses, small and large, the opportunity to engage in an after work networking activity that promotes office collaboration, team-building and encourages healthy living. There are seven Fun Runs scheduled in 2015, including Long Island, North Jersey, Baltimore, Westchester, Delaware, Fairfield, CT and Philadelphia. Each event supports a worthwhile beneficiary, including Max Cure Foundation in Delaware 5k on July 22nd located at the Central Branch YMCA. You can also support families battling cancer in their children in all locations when you clean out your closets of used sneakers and Dunk Your Kicks for childhood cancer.

Dunk your Kicks is such an amazingly simply concept, donate used sneakers and help raise dollars for kids with cancer. It seemed to us so logical to introduce “Dunk” to the hundreds of corporations that presently participate as company running/walking teams at CFR events. Our vision from the beginning was simple, we want to see thousands of Dunk your Kicks boxes in corporate office lobbies all across the country.
