Take Part in Max Cure’s BIGGEST Social Fundraiser Ever Attempted!
This year, The Max Cure Foundation is setting our most ambitious social fundraising goal to date! We started with the aggressive goal to raise $43,000 between now and December 31st, 2019 to fund our 2020 family support program. Why $43,000?
EVERY DAY IN THE UNITED STATES THERE ARE 43 CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER. 👈👎
The diagnosis of childhood cancer often causes families to experience extreme financial distress. Often, parents are fighting for the life of their child, while struggling to find a way to pay for unexpected treatment expenses.
According to the National Institutes of Health, the four major factors that contribute to a family’s extreme economic strain include travel expenses for treatment, loss of income due to a reduction or termination of employment, out-of-pocket expenses for treatment and the inability to draw on programs for assistance or income supplements while their child is in treatment.
🦁BE PART OF SOMETHING BIG 🦁
The Max Cure Foundation’s Roar Beyond Barriers Family Support Program can be a significant resource for these pediatric cancer families. With our systemic approach to financial support, families can depend on incremental monetary assistance for up to two years while their child is on active treatment.
🦁HOW YOU CAN HELP 🦁
The answer Is simple. We need your donations or your voice.
We need people like YOU to champion for the cause and start fundraisers on Facebook and our website. We need people like YOU to be a voice for children battling cancer and their families. Every donation makes a difference. Every effort, small or large, adds to the end result.

Roar Beyond Barriers Program
Roar Beyond Barriers
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the average family spends 40+ hours per week caring for their child while they are in active treatment. Parents must take time off from work, or in many cases leave their job to care for their child. Often in dual-parent homes, a working parent has to take a second job to pay for mounting medical costs and the loss of income.
The Max Cure Foundation’s Roar Beyond Barriers program provides financial support to low-income, first responder, and military families who have a child battling cancer to help ease some of the financial burdens on the family while dealing with the child’s diagnosis. Roar Beyond Barriers provides assistance in the form of financial aid paid to families on a quarterly basis as a systemic form of support. We hope this steady source of extra income can help alleviate some of the financial crunch a sick child can create in a family’s budget.
MCF interacts with hospital social workers that refer families with children in active treatment and meet program qualifications. The social workers provide a list of qualified candidates, of which MCF’s Executive Director and Board of Directors select those families to participate in the program.
You can make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer, and their families by making a contribution towards the Roar Beyond Barriers program today.
