Logan started to experience extreme leg and back pain which led to multiple trips to the emergency room. He was later transferred to Norton Children’s Hospital for further testing. There the doctors discovered a strange marker indicating abnormal MRI results. After a follow up bone marrow biopsy, Logan and his family were delivered the unfortunate news. On July 29th 2019, Logan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This is the family’s second child to be diagnosed with leukemia. Logan’s brother, Xavier, bravely fights his own battle alongside him. Both boys are currently undergoing their treatment at Norton Children’s Hospital.

Logan’s mom, Shelly, describes her son to be “a rambunctious seven year old,” who loves race cars, dinosaurs, and all things boys. Though with great support from his mom, sister Shelby-Jae, and brother Xavier, today Logan continues his fight against his diagnosis.

This article was drafted by Max Cure Foundation Junior Board Member Zoe Epstein.
